Disney World Continued- Magic Kingdom Part 1

Day 3 of our trip took us to my favorite park of all, MAGIC KINGDOM! I chose Monday to go because the park stayed open until 1 am and I wanted to stay all day at the park! 

I think everybody and their brother had the exact same idea because boy, was it crowded! It was actually the busiest I have ever seen Magic Kingdom, and I've been there many times. (We inadvertently picked Spring Break week to go- boo!)

We didn't let the crowds get us down, though! We just accepted the fact that we were going to have to wait everywhere we went. We even had to wait in a 45 minute long line to ride the Monorail to get to the park! As you can see, we had a creeper in our picture:

I had a checklist of photo-ops I needed while there, and of course Cinderella's Castle was #1 on my list. A piece of advice: there is no need to ask someone to take your picture for you in front of Cinderella's Castle. Just start trying to take one of yourselves, and someone will feel sorry for you and offer to take your picture. Works like a charm ;o)

What is embarrassing, however, is when you realize you strongly dislike the picture the nice person took for you because you are pretty sure it makes you look pregnant. And you are NOT pregnant! See the picture above. 

I totally embarrassed the hubs when I went up to the nice man who took the picture and asked him to take another because the previous picture made me look pregnant. Yes I did! But it was so worth it because look at the absolutely perfect picture we got the 2nd time:

After Brian got over his embarrassment, we went and got our fast-passes at Space Mountain. Next, we rode Snow White's Scary Adventures!

After the ride, we wanted to eat lunch at the Plaza Restaurant, but I didn't realize it was reservation only :o( We ended up eating at the Tomorrowland Terrace instead, and had to stand up to eat since there were no more chairs. Seriously, the park was really, really packed!

Next, we were off to Adventureland to ride one of my favorites, Pirates of the Caribbean!

We had just enough time before our Space Mountain fast-passes to ride The Haunted Mansion!

I don't know what the deal was with that dress, but here's another example of a "preggo" picture. Haha!

After Haunted Mansion, we went and rode Space Mountain (one of my favorite rides)! I always get nervous getting on it but want to ride it again afterwards! We rested a little in Tomorrowland and caught a show at Cinderella's Castle before heading to eat dinner at the Liberty Square Tavern (one of my favorite meals of the trip)!

I hope everyone's had a great weekend so far! Last night I dragged Brian to see Titanic 3D, and it didn't disappoint! It's one of my favorite movies of all time!
