This Thursday marked four years of marriage for Brian and I. It's amazing to think we have known each other for a total of 7 years! God has blessed us so much during that time, and I can't wait to see what the future holds for us.
We started the anniversary celebration on Wednesday night by taking an impromptu frozen yogurt run to Gracie Bleu's. On the way back to our house Brian asked if I would like to open my anniversary present early. It was a beautifully wrapped present from Joseph and as soon as I started unwrapping, I saw the Tory Burch symbols all over the box. I love me some Tory Burch! Brian picked these sandals out all on his own, and I must say he has very good taste!
He even remembered my normal size, which is an 8. Unfortunately, Tory's seem to run a little small on me, so I had to upgrade to a 9. The store didn't have that size in the "Brazil Nut" color, so I'm patiently waiting on them to arrive in the mail.
Brian got his anniversary present once we arrived home. I know a lot of people won't understand why I got my husband this, but let me just say he has been talking about one of these NON-STOP and basically begging for one. So don't judge. I know it's not a super manly anniversary gift.
Yes, that is a Vitamix blender. It's supposed to be awesome for juicing and making smoothies or whatever you want to blend, chop, purée, etc. Needless to say he loved it.
Thursday I took a vacation day for our anniversary, and Brian took me to dinner at Fleming's. Neither of us had been there before. Every single thing was to-die-for delicious! I got the Newport Filet with Fleming's potatoes, and we halved a side of creamed spinach. For dessert we ate a molten lava cake topped with Chantilly whipped cream.
Another anniversary is in the books!
This weekend is pretty busy for us, we have Brian's best friend's wedding and my best friend's graduation party. And now I'm off to go get ready. Happy weekend, folks!
